About Skratch Labs

Skratch Labs makes sports nutrition designed to help you perform better using real food. The brand’s mission is to “develop and sell food and drinks that taste great, that are made from real ingredients and that solve problems for active people.”

Skratch Labs when Dr. Allen Lim started making his own training food and drinks while working as a sport scientist and coach for a professional cycling team. Dr. Lim found that too many of the pre-packaged sports bars and drinks were filled with artificial ingredients and didn’t live up to their promises.

Dr. Lim’s “Secret Drink Mix” became popular and alongside a team of close friends, he launched Skratch Labs in Boulder, Colorado.

Now, Skratch Labs offers a range of hydration mixes, recovery drinks, energy bars and chews, and more. With each product, Skratch Labs aims to:

  • Use less sugar
  • Include more electrolytes
  • Only use fruit for flavor
