Hatch is expanding its sleep lineup with the Hatch Sleep Clock, a new bedside sleep tracker designed to monitor sleep without requiring a ring, watch, or other wearable. Instead of assigning a nightly sleep score, the company says the device focuses on identifying long-term patterns and offering personalized recommendations to help users build better sleep habits.
Unlike many sleep trackers, the Hatch Sleep Clock doesn’t center the experience around a nightly sleep score.
Instead, the bedside device uses contact-free radar technology to track sleep duration, sleep stages, breathing rate, bedroom temperature, humidity, and light levels while users sleep. It can also detect snoring and identify environmental factors that may be be affecting sleep quality.
The data is then synced to the Hatch Sleep app, where users can view long-term sleep patterns instead of focusing on a single night’s score. As it learns a user’s habits, the app can recommend bedtime routines, sleep audio, wake times, and other small adjustments designed to help improve sleep over time.

The Hatch Sleep app replaces nightly sleep scores with actionable sleep guidance.
More people are paying attention to their sleep than ever before. But instead of simply collecting more data, the latest sleep products are focused on helping people actually sleep better. From bedroom temperature control to personalized sleep coaching, the focus has shifted toward improving sleep, not just measuring more data.
The Sleep Clock fits into that trend by replacing nightly sleep scores with long-term sleep insights and personalized recommendations.also works alongside Hatch’s existing library of guided routines, sleep stories, meditations, sleep music, sunrise alarms, and other bedtime features, bringing sleep tracking and sleep coaching together in a single bedside device.
