ROSE is launching with a simple idea: before buying another water filter, figure out what’s actually in your water.
The new exposure health company’s first product, The Water Test, is an at-home kit that screens a tap-water sample for more than 100 contaminants, including PFAS, heavy metals, pesticides, VOCs, disinfection byproducts, and petroleum compounds.
Samples are analyzed by an ISO-certified lab, with results delivered alongside personalized recommendations for what to do next.
Using the kit is relatively straightforward. Users collect water at home, send the included samples back to ROSE’s partner lab, and receive results in about two weeks.

ROSE’s at-home Water Test screens one sample for 100+ contaminants, including PFAS, heavy metals, pesticides, and VOCs.
ROSE says PFAS testing comes standard, rather than requiring a separate add-on, and the test also looks for contaminants like lead, arsenic, benzene, chloroform, and atrazine.
Each result is paired with a dashboard explaining what was found and a personalized treatment plan matched to those findings.
That approach is really the differentiator.
Rather than assuming every home needs the same filtration system, ROSE is built around a test, treat, track model: identify what’s actually present, choose a solution based on the results, then retest later to see whether it worked.
ROSE also says it doesn’t sell the filters or treatments it recommends and doesn’t take commissions on them, separating the testing from the product recommendation.
The company is starting with water, but plans to expand into other forms of environmental exposure over time, including air, mold, and product testing. A biomarker product focused on exposure is also planned for early 2027.
The Water Test is available now for $399 at getrose.com. The company also offers a two-tap bundle for testing water from both the kitchen and bathroom.
