Chilipad launches its new 2.0 bed cooling system with zero subscription fees

The new Chilipad 2.0 builds on the company’s established water-based sleep system with upgrades shaped by customer feedback, including a quieter dock, a redesigned cover, a built-in mattress protector, and no required subscription for core cooling and heating controls.

Standard cooling fabrics and gel mattress toppers work by drawing heat away from your body, so they often warm up over the course of the night. Chilipad solves this problem by using actively circulating water to maintain a precise temperature between 55°F and 115°F all night long. Continuous climate control keeps the bed exactly how you want it, helping to reduce night sweats, limit 3 a.m. tossing and turning, and improve your overall sleep quality.

Shaped by customer feedback, the 2.0 hardware redesign focuses on the little friction points of daily use. The new “Hydrolayer“ cover is modular, meaning it slides right out when it’s time to wash it, and it now features a built-in mattress protector (to shield your actual mattress from night sweats or everyday wear).
