Jordan Brand and Nike Strength bring Air Jordan design to gym equipment

Jordan Brand and Nike Strength are teaming up on Jordan Strength, a collection of equipment for home gyms and training facilities. Nike Strength brings its existing equipment lineup to the partnership, while Jordan adds the colors and design details that have made its sneakers instantly recognizable.

What’s in the collection

Jordan Strength covers the core pieces you’d expect in a weight room, including dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, a curl bar, bumper and change plates, an adjustable bench, and a half rack. The rack has integrated storage, while the bumper plates interlock to help keep them organized. Barbell collars, J-cups, and storage shelves round out the lineup.

The collection applies Jordan’s signature colors and design details across Nike Strength equipment.

The collection also includes a soft plyo box shaped like a Jordan shoebox, turning one of the brand’s most recognizable objects into a piece of equipment for jumps and step-ups.

Across the lineup, a black, red, and cement color scheme ties the equipment back to Jordan sneakers. Elephant print from the Air Jordan 3 appears on the weights, while Air Jordan 7 outsole patterns show up on larger equipment. Other details reference the Air Jordan 4, Jordan’s number 23, and the Bulls’ six championship years.

Nike’s growing presence in strength training

Nike closed its fitness studios earlier this year, but it has kept finding ways onto the gym floor. It named The Yard Gym its first global training partner in May, putting Nike gear in an established strength and conditioning franchise.

Jordan Strength is another move in that direction, bringing Nike equipment into home and commercial gyms with a distinctly Jordan look.
