Raide Research dropped TrailTech, a running system built for female anatomy

Raide Research is launching TrailTech, a running system built specifically around female anatomy rather than resized from men’s gear. The collection is a modular, high-performance trail running gear setup designed to let runners carry hydration, fuel, and layers bounce-free on their lower body without wearing a traditional backpack or running vest.

What’s new

The Cargo Tank is the centerpiece of the system. It’s an integrated bra-and-carry top that holds up to 900mL of water, six gels, a phone, and a rain shell, all without a separate vest. The TrailTech Short pairs with it, built more like running tights than traditional shorts, with five pockets, a silicone grip liner, and a 360mL locking flask included.

The system also includes the Women’s LF 2L Running Belt and the TrailTech UL Shell Anorak, a 3-layer shell made from Japanese fabric around a 5-micron PU membrane at just 45gsm, making it one of the lightest fully waterproof-breathable shells on the market.

Trail running participation has grown quickly over the past few years, and even bigger players are taking notice. Though Raide has built its name on staying small and technically obsessive ski-touring packs, TrailTech extends that same engineering-first approach into a running-specific system for women.
