ŌURA unveils next-gen Ring 4: Here’s what’s new

At the core of the ŌURA Ring 4 is Smart Sensing, a proprietary technology designed to improve accuracy in wearables. With Smart Sensing, ŌURA’s algorithm and sensors adapt to each user’s unique finger physiology, ensuring more personalized and precise health tracking.

The Ring 4 comes in six colors: Brushed Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Stealth, and Black.

In a recent 60-person study, the Smart Sensing technology demonstrated significant improvements on ŌURA’s previous Gen3 products:

• Blood oxygen sensing signal quality improved by 120%, leading to a 30% increase in average overnight SpO2 measurement accuracy
• Its breathing disturbance index is now 15% more accurate
• Data gaps in heart rate measurements have been reduced by 7% during the day and 31% at night.

The ŌURA Ring 4 features an all-titanium construction with recessed sensors, resulting in a smoother interior and thinner profile, aiming to improve comfort for 24/7 wear. The ring comes in 12 sizes (4-15) and six colors: Brushed Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Stealth, and an updated Black with a glossy, tungsten PVD coating for increased durability.

• Automatic Activity Detection now includes heart rate tracking for over 40 activities.
• The Daytime Stress feature has been updated to show the impact of daily habits on stress levels.
• A new Fertile Window feature is coming soon to aid in pregnancy planning.
