R.A.D® launched its second running shoe, and this one is built for the everyday. The SYNTH is a daily trainer built for the full range of training runs, from easy miles to intense sessions. It’s designed to complement the UFO, the brand’s debut super trainer, which launched in October 2025. Where the UFO was built for competition, the SYNTH is built for everything in between.
The SYNTH doesn’t try to correct your stride. It’s intentionally neutral, so your natural mechanics do the work. The midsole is SwellFoam™, a supercritical foam made with 40% bio-based EVA that cushions without feeling spongy. The outsole is a herringbone pattern in R.A.D®’s sticky rubber, and the mesh upper is built to breathe.
At 232g with a 38mm heel stack and 6mm drop, it’s cushioned enough for high mileage weeks but not so soft it drags on faster runs. It comes in six colorways: Off White, Goth Black, Raindrops, Acid Green, Fuchsia Flash, and Blue Flash.

SYNTH was built for daily runs and steady sessions.
While the UFO put R.A.D on the map in running, the SYNTH is the brand’s second bet. The team behind it has the experience to back its ambition to build a running brand rather than a running moment. Blue Benadum, who co-founded The Speed Project, leads running product, and Tom Berend brings design experience from the Nike Innovation Kitchen. If you’ve been R.A.D-curious but not yet marathon-ready or sold on a super trainer, this is the more practical entry point.
The R.A.D SYNTH is available at select Authorised Dealers from April 2 and globally at rad-global.com starting April 9.
