The Drop: On has released the Cloudsurfer 2, bringing enhanced cushioning and durability to their signature daily trainer. The upgraded model features a breathable engineered mesh upper and refined CloudTec Phase® technology for a plush, effortless ride.

The original Cloudsurfer helped establish On’s reputation for innovative cushioning. Now, the second generation takes that legacy further with computer-optimized technology and refined details aimed at making every run feel effortless.

On’s evolved CloudTec Phase® technology creates a distinctly soft and smooth ride without and Cloudsurfer 2’s computer-optimized midsole allows each “cloud” element to collapse sequentially, delivering a natural rolling sensation from heel to toe that makes this On’s softest road running shoe to date.

Built to breathe, its engineered mesh upper has been completely reworked with enhanced breathability and updated tongue design. Subtle embroidered details add style while maintaining the shoe’s clean aesthetic. The upper adapts to your foot shape while providing just enough structure to feel secure on daily runs.

The Cloudsurfer 2 launches as part of On’s new SOFT WINS campaign featuring Sesame Street’s Elmo, which celebrates the idea that running success isn’t just about intensity – it can also come through balance, community, and personal growth.

Tech specs

The Cloudsurfer 2 features a 9mm drop with stack heights of 32mm in the heel and 23mm in the toe. The computer-generated outsole geometry is engineered for increased durability without compromising the cushioned feel.

At 260g for men (US 9) and 230g for women (US 7.5), it hits the sweet spot for a daily trainer that can handle everything from recovery runs to medium-long efforts.
