Inito’s wireless fertility reader measures four hormones on a single strip

This one maps out your full cycle.

Most at-home ovulation tests measure a single hormone—LH—and return a binary result. That tells you ovulation may be approaching, but it doesn’t confirm it happened, and it misses the broader hormonal pattern that shapes fertility across the full cycle. Inito’s new InSight Wireless Reader is built around a fuller picture, measuring four hormones on a single test strip and delivering results wirelessly to your phone.

What it measures

The four key fertility hormones tracked each mark a distinct phase of the cycle: estrogen (E3G) rises ahead of ovulation, LH peaks to trigger it, PdG (a urine metabolite of progesterone) confirms it happened, and FSH signals the start of a new cycle. Together, those four hormones help identify up to six fertile days per cycle, compared to the two that most single-hormone tests detect. Dr. Lora Shahine, an Inito advisor and reproductive endocrinologist, makes the case for it directly: “The most meaningful fertility conversations happen when we can review a patient’s full hormone pattern, not just a single lab result.”

The precision upgrade in InSight comes from patented Spectral Mapping technology. Each hormone is measured on an independent track on the strip to prevent cross-reactivity, and every test is verified using two sensing methods, fluorescence and visual colorimetric imaging, to catch subtle hormonal shifts. The full surface of the strip is captured over time, generating what Inito describes as a 100x richer signal that helps its AI algorithm filter out real-world variables like lighting and humidity.

That data is drawn from a base of over 40 million fertility hormone tests, and the reader is designed to account for irregular cycles, PCOS-like patterns, post-pill, and pre-IVF use cases. According to the brand, results arrive wirelessly via Wi-Fi directly to the Inito app—on both iOS and Android—in about 10 minutes. From there, users simply start the test, put their phone away, and get a notification when results are ready.
