The Drop: Aviron has launched the Fit Bike, a connected stationary bike that aims to make fitness fun and engaging through immersive, game-driven workouts.
Aviron was founded to make fitness fun and accessible to as many people as possible. “With the launch of the Aviron Fit Bike, we’re taking that mission further by introducing a connected fitness experience that offers riders unparalleled flexibility in how they train and sustain motivation,” explains Andy Hoang, Aviron CEO and founder.
The Fit Bike allows users to engage in different activities including multiplayer games, live races, guided workouts, scenic rides, and coached classes. The platform also offers options for both on-bike and off-bike exercises, including dumbbells for strength training and the Cloud seat for a softer ride.
“Whether it’s interval training, HIIT, or gradual cadence changes of a traditional spin class, the Aviron Fit Bike delivers the broadest range of workout options in the connected fitness space. By driving motivation through gamification, we’re transforming workouts into engaging and enjoyable experiences that keep users coming back,” adds Hoang.
The bike offers 160 levels of electromagnetic resistance and a freewheel design that mimics road cycling. It features a 4-way adjustable seat and 6-way adjustable handlebars for a customized fit. It also comes with a 22″ HD touchscreen that pivots for optimal viewing during both on-bike and off-bike workouts.
The Aviron Fit Bike is designed for convenience with a 20-minute self-assembly process and a 10-year frame warranty. Its apartment-friendly size also makes it suitable for various living spaces.
The Aviron Fit Bike is available via Aviron’s website at an introductory price of $1,999 (MSRP $2,399). For $24 per month, users can access the unlimited workout library through a membership.
