Alexandra Zatarain is the Co-founder and vice president of brand and marketing at Eight Sleep. Through her work, Alexandra and her team are aiming to change the conversation around rest and recovery by developing sleep fitness as a category and new movement.

“I’ve become obsessed with my Tonal. Started using it consistently in the past year and I’ve seen a tremendous impact on my strength and muscle definition. Love how it challenges me with every workout, and it has also served as a tool for me to learn new moves I can do even while traveling at a hotel gym.”
“Sleeping away from my Pod is the most challenging part of traveling. I’ve gotten used to sleeping perfectly thermoregulated and tracking my sleep and health without a wearable. It is truly a groundbreaking product for my health.”
“I use my home sauna at least once a week. I’m a huge fan of the sauna, given its health benefits and how it improves my mood. It relaxes my nervous system, which is why I prefer to spend 20 minutes in the sauna right before dinner, giving my body the signal that it’s time to start winding down.”
“When I don’t do a strength training workout, I opt for an incline walk or run on the treadmill. The Peloton is my go-to at home, and I love the new feature of being able to watch my favorite show while running!”
“This is a new addition to my routine; I’ve loved it so far. I use this mask 2-3 times weekly as part of my skincare routine. Bedtime skincare is a key daily ritual for me, and since learning the benefits of red light, I couldn’t escape the opportunity to try it.”
“Cold exposure is not easy for me, but I sometimes push myself to embrace it. Especially after a hard workout! I live in Miami, so I benefit from having the plunge outdoors in the backyard. The hot environment helps when I dive into the ice-cold water.”
