WHOOP announced a multiyear partnership with designer Samuel Ross MBE (SR_A studio), who joins as Global Creative Director for PROJECT TERRAIN. The collaboration will produce custom WHOOP bands and technical apparel through limited drops starting this year and extending into 2028.
PROJECT TERRAIN includes limited-edition WHOOP bands and new pieces for WHOOP Body, the brand’s line of technical clothing with built-in sensor pockets for wearing WHOOP beyond the wrist.
Ross’ design portfolio includes 40 footwear models with Nike and Converse, three Oakley collections, five years designing Hublot watches for LVMH, and a role as Principal Design Consultant at Apple’s Beats. His industrial design approach centers on precision, material innovation, and functional clarity.
“At WHOOP, we’ve always believed that wearable technology needs to be invisible or it needs to be cool,” said Will Ahmed, Founder and CEO. The partnership represents WHOOP’s evolution from pioneering wearable tech company into a brand shaping the intersection of personal health, performance fashion, and cultural design.
SR_A’s architectural ethos will introduce a new design vocabulary for WHOOP informed by utility, intentionality, and materials-driven design.
