Copenhagen-born fitness concept Nordic Strong is making its American debut with a summer pop-up in the Hamptons’ Sag Harbor, followed by the opening of a permanent flagship studio in New York City’s Flatiron District this fall.
At the heart of the Nordic Strong experience is its patented fitness machine that mimics the natural motion of cross-country skiing, delivering a full-body, low-impact workout that seamlessly integrates cardio, strength, and mobility training.

Founded by Copenhagen native Nicoline Roth, Nordic Strong embodies core Nordic principles of balance, simplicity, and connection.
“It’s unlike anything else out there,” says Roth. “You can push your limits or slow things down—and either way, you leave feeling strong in every sense of the word. Nordic Strong is about more than just a workout. It’s about creating a space where people can reconnect to their bodies, build resilience, and move with purpose.”

The studio’s three signature classes combine strength, endurance, and agility:
The Sag Harbor pop-up (located at 11 Bridge Street) runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day with limited 20-person classes. After a free intro class, you can book $50 single sessions or book a batch of three classes for $84.
Nordic Strong’s permanent Flatiron District flagship will open in fall 2025.
