If you’re into fitness or recovery at all, you’ve probably heard of a Hypervolt. The brand behind it, Hyperice, has spent the last 15 years building one of the most recognized names in percussion massage—and now it’s back with its most powerful lineup yet. The Hypervolt 3 series includes three upgraded devices, all with the purpose of loosening tight muscles, improving range of motion, warming up before training, and speeding up recovery after.

Hyperice Hypervolt 3.
Three models for different users
Every device in the line gets the same core upgrades: more percussion speeds, four hours of battery life, quieter motor operation via Hyperice’s QuietGlide technology, and fully redesigned attachments that are 33% larger than before for better surface coverage. All three are TSA-compliant and FSA/HSA-eligible.
The range includes:
- Hypervolt Go 3. The lightest option at 1.6 lbs, built for travel and quick sessions. Five speeds, USB-C charging, and two attachments (flat and wedge). Compatible with the new Heated Head Attachment, which is sold separately. This one is a good entry point if portability matters more than power.
- Hypervolt 3. The mid-tier device weighs 2 lbs and adds a pressure sensor, Bluetooth connectivity for the Hyperice app, and five attachments including the Heated Head, which combines three levels of heat therapy (109–120°F) with percussion. For most people who train regularly but aren’t rehabbing injuries, the mid-tier Hypervolt 3 might be your sweet spot.
- Hypervolt 3 Pro. Hyperice’s flagship, at 2.5 lbs and 70 lbs of stall force. It runs at 51 dB, which is notably quiet for a device at this power level. Six speeds, the Heated Head Attachment, a premium carry case, and app connectivity. Built for high-volume training, physical therapy, or anyone who needs deep-tissue pressure that lighter devices can’t reach.
