Hyperice and Nike ACG team up on a recovery-only Normatec for the 2026 Winter Olympics

A custom Normatec Elite system designed for Olympic travel, transitions, and recovery.

As athletes arrive in Italy for the 2026 Winter Olympics, recovery is getting the same design and performance treatment as competition-day gear. Hyperice and Nike ACG have partnered on a custom, non-retail edition of the Normatec Elite, built exclusively for Nike-signed Olympians.

The system appears in a signature ACG orange colorway with black accents and co-branded detailing, blending Hyperice’s compression technology with Nike ACG’s all-conditions design language.

These Normatec units will be showcased inside Nike activation houses across Italy during the Games, but they won’t be sold to the public and will only be used by elite athletes competing in Milan.

Built for the in-between

This collaboration centers on what both brands call “recovery in transition.” Not just post-event cooldowns, but the in-between moments that tend to get overlooked, like flights, long travel days, altitude changes, and compressed competition schedules.

The Normatec Elite uses dynamic air compression to support circulation, reduce swelling, and manage soreness, making it especially useful for winter athletes moving between extreme temperatures and high-output events. It’s designed to be used as much on the road as in recovery spaces.

Recovery moves beyond the baseline. The collaboration builds on the momentum of the Nike x Hyperice Hyperboot debut in Paris, reinforcing a broader shift in elite sport. At the highest level of sport, recovery is being designed with the same intent as footwear and apparel. It’s now infrastructure for the moments athletes are moving, traveling, and competing under stress.
