Here’s Joe to share his Health Stack:

Apple Watch

“Number one has to be my Apple Watch. I’ve had it for a few years now and whilst I’m not massively into diving into deep data, I do love keeping an eye on my heart rate when I’m doing a HIIT session or tracking my walks and runs. I also use it for my timers for my workouts and for controlling my music while I’m working out.”

Headphones

“Another must have is my headphones. I love listening to music and podcasts when I’m training and an awesome soundtrack is great for getting me fired up for a session.”

Spotify

“This one is not so much a device or a piece of kit but it is really important to my training and it’s Spotify. I listen to music whenever I train whether it’s at home, in the gym or if I’m going for a run or a walk. Music really gets me motivated, I listen to everything from pop and hip-hop and even classical music if I’m doing something slower like stretching and mobility. Music is a big part of my fitness and wellness routine.”

Vivobarefoot shoes

“A few years ago I switched out my training shoes and started wearing Vivobarefoot shoes. These have a really thin sole and give my foot more of a natural position where they can be spread out and be more connected to the ground. I use them for my HIIT and strength training and they have really helped with my form and strengthening my feet.”

Theragun

“Over the last couple of years I’ve really started to focus more on mobility and recovery. After years of lots of HIIT training and lifting weights, I’ve really learnt that I need to give my body a rest. This means giving more attention to stretching, mobility and recovery and one thing that has become part of my routine is using my Theragun. I use this after all my sessions to help with recovery and to loosen my muscles. It’s really helped recently with my recovery from a shoulder injury that I’ve had.”
