First Look: Gymshark enters footwear with R.A.D® collaboration

Gymshark just announced its first footwear release alongside training brand R.A.D®.

The collaboration features two R.A.D® models in Gymshark’s signature muted colorways: the R.A.D® ONE V2 delivers 360-degree stability for lifting, rope climbs, and burpees, while the R.A.D® R-1 handles everything from gym sessions and HIIT workouts to road runs with responsive energy return.

Both shoes come in White Silver, Weighted Purple, Pebble Gray, and Triple Black.

The collection comes in Gymshark’s trademark muted colorways.

The perfect match

Gymshark, founded in 2012 by Ben Francis, has been a leader in training apparel for over a decade and has received continued demand from its community to expand into footwear for years.

“Gymshark isn’t a sports brand, or an athleisure brand, it’s a gym brand,” says Francis. “We knew that if we were to bring out a shoe, it needed to not only look great, but also one that was going to perform.”

R.A.D® also brings serious credentials to the partnership. Founded by industry veterans from Nike and adidas, the brand built a cult following with shoes that don’t compromise style for performance. Known for its athlete collaborations, particularly in the CrossFit space, this latest collection marks the brand’s biggest and most high-profile collaboration to date.

“To have the Gymshark logo sitting on our shoes, a brand that’s become a global symbol of training, is a real pinch-me moment,” says Massey. “We’ve always seen ourselves as the underdog, building from the ground up.”
