Cadence unveils the Core 40 Bar, its first nutrition bar for endurance athletes

The Drop: Cadence launched the Core 40 Bar, its first nutrition bar designed specifically for endurance athletes. The bar combines a specialized carbohydrate blend with the brand’s signature electrolyte profile to support sustained energy and hydration.

The Details: Cadence’s dual-action formula

The Core 40 Bar expands Cadence’s hydration-focused product line with a solution for pre- and post-workout fueling. Each bar delivers 40g of carbohydrates from a blend of puffed white rice, organic dates, and organic honey, designed to provide both immediate and sustained energy.

Each bar also contains:

400mg sodium to maintain fluid balance
180mg potassium for cellular function and muscle contractions
50mg magnesium to support proper hydration and nerve function

Core 40’s carbohydrate blend is designed to help sustain energy and delay fatigue with its mix of fast and slow-releasing carbs, while its sodium, potassium, and magnesium electrolyte formula helps curb dehydration and muscle cramping.

The bar is also made using only clean, natural ingredients with essential nutrients and contains no artificial flavors.

The product was developed with input from Matt Jones, Cadence’s nutrition advisor who has worked with elite organizations including the Boston Celtics, English Premier League teams, and the UAE Football Association.
