Athletic Brewing isn’t just making non-alcoholic beer; it’s redefining when you can enjoy one. While the brand is on track to surpass 500,000 barrels by the end of 2025, its biggest win may be cultural: showing up exactly where modern drinkers want a beer that fits their lives.
In the UK, 28% of young adults don’t drink alcohol at all, and nearly a third of adults want to cut back.
Recognizing that shift, London’s Arsenal FC partnered with Athletic to make its craft beers available across Emirates Stadium, giving fans the ritual of a pint without the aftermath. Now fans can grab Athletic’s Run Wild IPA or 25-calorie Athletic Lite whether they’re cutting back, driving home, or just curious to try something new.
And, it’s working. Non-alcoholic beer sales at the stadium doubled the partnership’s first year.
Athletic’s cultural playbook now stretches well beyond soccer. While big brewers like Heineken and Guinness have entered the non-alcoholic space, Athletic has taken a different path — embedding itself in the cultural moments where performance, connection, and recovery all intersect.
Its Live Nation partnership brings Athletic’s brews to more than 100 concert venues across the U.S. — from Brooklyn Paramount to The Gorge Amphitheatre — plus major festivals like Bonnaroo and BottleRock. With nearly 70% of concertgoers saying they want more non-alcoholic options, Athletic is giving them exactly that.
The brand even created Side Stage, a citrus-forward pale ale celebrating Vans Warped Tour’s 30th anniversary return. Made with orange peel for fans who “still know every lyric but prefer mornings without the hangover,” it captures the festival’s energy without the usual aftermath.

Athletic has partnered with IRONMAN through 2028.
In endurance sports, Athletic’s IRONMAN sponsorship, extended through 2028, has made its brews a fixture at finish lines across North America and the UK, transforming post-race rituals into more inclusive celebrations.. The brand sponsors two flagship races — Athletic Brewing IRONMAN 70.3 Oceanside and Athletic Brewing IRONMAN Lake Placid — and serves its brews at most IRONMAN Villages across North America and the UK.
Athletic keeps its taplist relevant with limited releases that match the season, like Winter Wonder, a spiced holiday brew, and Hometown Harvest IPA, crafted with Connecticut malts and Oregon hops. celebrates both coasts with Connecticut malts and Oregon hops, creating a malt-forward brew that’s only available online for a limited time.
An upcoming release, Athletic Lite Lime & Salt, adds to its cocktail-inspired lineup.
Athletic has tapped into a simple truth that people want to join the moment without sacrificing tomorrow. It focuses on inclusion over abstinence, giving drinkers options that fit modern life. By showing up where culture already gathers, Athletic has turned non-alcoholic beer from a fallback into a choice.
