The Drop: Jimini Health launched a new therapy platform combining licensed therapists with AI assistance to provide continuous mental health support.
Jimini Health aims to transform traditional therapy by pairing patients with both a licensed therapist and an AI assistant named Sage. The platform addresses a key limitation of conventional therapy – the lack of support between weekly sessions.
Jimini Health combines evidence-based therapeutic methods with continuous, AI-supported engagement
“Therapy has been constrained by a traditional once-a-week model that leaves patients unsupported between sessions,” says Luis Voloch, CEO and co-founder. “We’re integrating responsible AI to superpower our clinicians, rather than replace them.”
Unlike standalone AI chatbots, Jimini’s approach keeps licensed therapists in charge. Sage, their AI assistant, works under clinical supervision to reinforce therapeutic goals and provide evidence-based support between sessions.
The platform’s approach has attracted support from leading psychology experts at Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. “This approach is a significant step forward in mental health care,” says Johannes Eichstaedt, Professor of Psychology at Stanford University.
Jimini Health is currently accepting new patients. The platform focuses on anxiety treatment and aims to set a new standard in continuous mental healthcare.
