Venus Williams’ Happy Viking levels up with a plant-powered refresh

The tennis champion's nutrition brand updates its high-protein meal replacement line.

Venus Williams has overhauled Happy Viking, her plant-based nutrition brand. After a year of customer feedback and development, the updated formula delivers 30g of plant protein, 10g of fiber, and over 100 superfoods per serving — all with a smoother texture and cleaner ingredient list.

A formula built from real feedback

When Williams couldn’t find the plant-based nutrition she needed during her autoimmune diagnosis in 2011, she built her own solution. More than a decade later, she’s applied that same mindset to rethinking Happy Viking.

The new formula follows the brand’s 30/10 rule — 30 grams of plant protein and 10 grams of fiber — designed to support satiety, gut health, and sustained energy. Each shake also includes over 100 superfoods, vitamins, and minerals.

The updated blend is now free from erythritol, with a richer consistency that mixes smoothly with any liquid (Williams’ team recommends almond milk).

Each serving contains 30 grams of plant protein and 10 grams of fiber.

Complete nutrition, not just protein

While many shakes focus on protein alone, Happy Viking is built as a complete meal replacement. Each serving provides healthy fats, essential vitamins for heart and brain health, antioxidants, and minerals to target seven key areas: energy, digestion, appetite control, lean muscle, cognition, immunity, and recovery.

The formula remains gluten-, dairy-, lactose-, and soy-free. Every ingredient is chosen for function, from supporting digestion to aiding post-training recovery.

“When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2011, I could barely walk, let alone play tennis,” says Williams. “The plant-based, high-protein nutrition in Happy Viking transformed my health and helped me return to the court stronger than ever.”
