Eight Sleep just added a new layer to its Pod ecosystem: the Pod Pillow Cover, a smart, water-powered pillow cover that keeps your head and neck at your ideal temperature through the night.

Keeping your head cool at night helps the brain shift into a restful state faster, leading to deeper, more efficient sleep. But most “cooling” pillows lose that effect within minutes as they absorb body heat. Eight Sleep’s Pod Pillow Cover uses silent hydro channels to circulate temperature-controlled water continuously, keeping your pillow as cool — or warm — as you like it.

During testing by the brand, a standard pillow reached body temperature within 15 minutes. The Pod Pillow Cover, meanwhile, stayed up to 25°F cooler, maintaining consistent comfort through the night. The cover fits over any standard or king-sized pillow, so you can keep the one you already like while upgrading its tech.

How the Eight Sleep Pillow Cover works

The Pod Pillow Cover connects to the Eight Sleep Hub, integrating with the brand’s existing Pod Cover and Pod Blanket for full-bed temperature regulation. Using water-powered channels, it adjusts from 55°F to 110°F and syncs with the Pod’s sensors for automatic changes via Autopilot—or you can tap the built-in button for quick manual control.

Couples can link two pillow covers to one Hub, with each side customized independently.
