Dream Recovery made a weighted blanket with an infrared recovery layer built into the fill

The sleep brand is stacking two evidence-backed mechanisms in one product.

Six in ten American adults aren’t getting enough sleep, and nearly four in ten have trouble falling asleep three or more nights a week. Weighted blankets address part of that equation—but most stop at the weight. Dream Recovery’s new Weighted Recovery Blanket adds a second layer: CELLIANT, a bioceramic fiber technology infused into the fill that captures body heat, converts it into infrared energy, and reflects it back into skin and muscle tissue to support local circulation and cellular oxygenation.

How it works

CELLIANT is a patented blend of naturally occurring minerals, including quartz, silicon oxide, and titanium oxide, embedded into polyester fibers. When in contact with the body, the minerals absorb emitted heat and convert it into infrared light that penetrates tissue rather than dissipating into the air.

The technology is backed by 11 peer-reviewed published clinical trials. One study found tissue oxygen levels increased by 5 to 8% in subjects wearing CELLIANT-infused garments. Another showed grip strength improved by roughly 12% after 90 minutes of exposure. A sleep-specific study found participants gained approximately 18 additional minutes of sleep per night with improved sleep efficiency when using a CELLIANT-infused surface.

A weighted blanket that does recovery work while you sleep.

At 25 lbs, the blanket is also doing the work weighted blankets are known for: sustained, even pressure activates the parasympathetic nervous system, easing sleep onset and reducing nighttime restlessness. The woven construction keeps it breathable, so the infrared layer is redirecting heat rather than trapping it. The outer shell is 100% organic cotton; the CELLIANT polyester filling is where the conversion happens, and because the technology is embedded into the fiber rather than applied as a coating, it doesn’t wash out over time.

Dream Recovery builds across the sleep and recovery category, with products including mouth tape, nasal strips, and a performance silk sleep mask, all oriented around optimizing what happens while you’re horizontal.
