Amazon One Medical now translates your bloodwork into actionable health insights

A new beta feature analyzes 50+ biomarkers and turns routine lab results into personalized recommendations.

Amazon One Medical launched Health Insights, a beta feature that takes standard bloodwork and breaks it down into something useful. Instead of staring at a panel of numbers and wondering what “high LDL” means for your day-to-day life, the tool analyzes more than 50 biomarkers, organizes them by health domain—cardiovascular, metabolic, immune function—and pairs them with evidence-based lifestyle recommendations. It’s included at no additional cost for One Medical members.

How it works

After completing a short questionnaire in the One Medical app, Health Insights generates a personalized wellness score based on your biomarker profile, along with detailed breakdowns of individual markers and specific recommendations around nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep. Each recommendation is backed by cited scientific references.

Not a replacement for your doctor. The feature is designed to prep you for smarter conversations with your care team, not substitute for clinical guidance. Your lab results still get reviewed by One Medical providers through their standard protocols. Health Insights gives you a head start on understanding what they’ll discuss.

From data to decisions

Most people get bloodwork done and either never look at the results or look and have no idea what to do with them. Health Insights is designed to close that gap: turn a routine blood panel into a starting point for informed conversations and behavior changes.. It’s part of a broader shift toward giving patients more ownership of their health information between appointments, and Amazon embedding it directly into One Medical’s existing membership makes the barrier to entry low.

Who can use it

One Medical members over 18 with at least one blood test result in their chart from the past year are eligible. Members with certain conditions requiring specialized clinical guidance are excluded from the beta. All data is handled under HIPAA-compliant privacy protections, and Amazon says it does not sell customer health information.

Where to access

Health Insights is available now in the One Medical app under Lab Results & Insights in the My Health tab. No additional cost for existing members. Learn more at amazon.com/health.
