Sleep tech company Orion Sleep has introduced a smart mattress cover that uses AI to learn and adjust to your optimal sleep. The dual-zone design fits over any standard mattress, allowing partners to set different temperature preferences for each side of the bed.
The Orion Sleep Cover uses built-in sensors to track heart rate, breathing, and sleep stages, automatically adjusting cooling or warmth to align with your body’s natural temperature cycles..
Over time, the system learns your preferences, or it can be calibrated through an optional at-home Sleep Optimization Test that analyzes your natural temperature patterns.
The cover supports a broader temperature range than earlier sleep systems while minimizing EMF emissions. Prices start at $2,295 for a Queen, $2,495 for a King, and $2,595 for a California King.and the company offers flexible financing. As a bonus, the system’s compact Control Tower sits neatly on a nightstand and connects seamlessly to the cover.
“Sleep follows the core body temperature cycle and body temperature is the #1 controllable component of sleep quality,” says Dr. Michael Breus, Orion’s chief sleep officer. According to Breus, balancing body temperature should help reduce wakeups and extend deep sleep and REM cycles.
The Orion Sleep System is available now at orionsleep.com. All mattress covers come with the Control Tower unit and are available in both softer and firmer options.
