Greens powders have increasingly become a staple part of wellness routines, including my own, offering a simple way to get extra nutrients into my diet. That’s why when Gainful released its new Daily Performance Greens, I knew I wanted to test them out.
Available in two light, tropical flavors, Gainful’s new greens powder packs a punch, from its transparent ingredients list all the way down to its luxe single-serve packaging.
The price of the Daily Performance Greens works out to about $1.50 per serving, which is pretty reasonable as far as high-quality greens powders go. Its top-tier ingredients are curated to support many aspects of personal health, including immunity, gut health, mental strength, and more.
When it came to testing the greens, they mixed well, creating a palatable, smooth consistency that wasn’t clumpy or unappetizing. Overall, I found the daily greens are an easy way to boost my daily nutrition in a way that I actually enjoyed.
I’ve been drinking greens powders since they first hit the market, but it’s unusual that I stick with the same brand for more than a couple of years. This is usually because I grow tired of the taste, whether an earthy, unmasked greens flavor or a fake-tasting fruity one. However, Gainful’s greens powder is refreshingly unique, unlike any other I’ve had before.
Gainful’s Performance Greens come in two flavors: Lemon Ginger and Tropical Pineapple. The first flavor is flavorful and citrusy, while the Tropical Pineapple is mellow, sweet, and fruity.
The brand recommends adding the powder to 8-9 ounces of water for a strong flavor or 10-12 ounces if you prefer a more watered-down flavor. While they’re great on their own, I could see both flavors being a great addition to a smoothie as well.
Gainful’s greens powder comes in easy-to-open, single-serve sachets. A few of the greens powders I’ve owned come in larger tubs, so I found this packaging super convenient for taking with me on the go, making it more likely that I’d keep up with the daily routine.
I also liked how easy the greens powder was to mix — though I used a milk frother to speed up the process. Once mixed, you’ll need to drink it immediately before it starts to separate, but I’ve found that to be pretty normal when it comes to greens powders. It’s also best served ice cold.
Nutritional products often come with miles-long ingredients lists that seem impossible to understand without an advanced science degree. This complexity can be overwhelming.
So I really appreciated how Gainful simplifies this. Its clear and simple ingredient list is organized by intended purpose — the Gut Health Blend, Focus Adaptogen Blend, and Greens Immune Support Blend.
Gainful also ensures that only ingredients proven effective in clinically studied doses are used. And additionally, they disclose the amount of each ingredient included in every serving.
Based on the name, you might be led to think that these greens powders are crafted just to get more greens into your diet and boost your training performance — but this powder is designed to offer much more.
Daily Performance Greens feature ingredients like inulin, a prebiotic fiber that supports immunity. It also includes adaptogens like Panax Ginseng Extract, Lions Mane Powder and L-Theanine to support and enhance cognitive function.
Gainful’s Performance Greens are available on the brand’s website for $42 for a 28-count box (you can get 30% off your first order with Wellworthy).
You can also buy 10-count boxes of the Tropical Pineapple flavor in store at Target for $15.99 from April 7, 2024.
