247 unveils first performance footwear line with ARC-1 Runner and ARC-2 Trainer

The Drop: Represent’s performance division 247 is entering the footwear game with two new training shoes: the ARC-1 Runner for distance runs and the ARC-2 Trainer for gym sessions.

The Details: A fresh take on performance footwear

After collaborating with PUMA on a sold-out release in December, 247 is now launching its own performance footwear line. The development marks a significant milestone for the rapidly growing British brand, which has built a cult following in the running and training space since its 2020 launch.

The ARC-1 Runner serves as a versatile option for both running and everyday wear, engineered specifically for 5-10km distances. Its engineered mesh upper features precision perforations for enhanced airflow, while the EVA midsole maintains its shape and cushioning for up to one million steps. The shoe balances impact protection with energy return for efficient, comfortable strides.

For those focused on strength and conditioning, the ARC-2 Trainer delivers stability and support for dynamic movements.

The ARC-2’s knitted upper includes TPU overlays for enhanced structure, while the flat outsole with minimal toe spring provides a stable base for weightlifting. The outsole design features a map of Rivington Pike, one of founder George Heaton’s favorite hometown running routes near the brand’s headquarters.

“Launching 247 footwear has been a major goal on the vision board since the brand took off back in 2020,” says Heaton, co-founder and creative director of Represent. “After 2 years of designing and fine tuning, we’ve created two shoes to serve our fitness community and this is just the beginning of what’s to come.”
