Nike ACG has a new camouflage print, Chamo Camo, and unlike most camo prints, it’s modeled on a specific, real location. The name is a nod to Chamonix, the French Alpine town at the base of Mont Blanc best known as the birthplace of mountaineering.
Its pattern is built from the landscape and rock formations surrounding the town itself — granite, limestone, and sandstone, layered with pine and spruce forests. Instead of one fixed, repeating motif, the print pulls in how the terrain actually looks at different times of day, from cool gray granite at sunrise to warmer, shadowed tones at dusk.
Five trail shoes will carry the new print: the ACG Ultrafly Trail, Zegama Trail, Pegasus Trail, Wildhorse, and Terra Kiger. The Ultrafly sits at the top of the lineup, and Nike even calls it its most tested trail racer, built through 13 rounds of development and more than 30,000 miles of runs. Together, the five shoes span serious mountain racing down to everyday trail miles.

The custom camouflage pattern also appears across two new lines of apparel. The Athlete Race Kit is built for competition, with Dri-FIT ADV singlets, distance tops, race shorts, tights, and Aero-FIT Radical AirFlow pieces. There’s also a more relaxed retail line, covering trail tanks, Solar Chase tops, lined shorts, and graphic tees for men and women.
The drop lands just weeks before UTMB, one of the toughest trail races in the world, a roughly 174-kilometer route around Mont Blanc with nearly 10,000 meters of climbing and a cutoff just under 47 hours. That timing puts Chamo Camo right in front of trail running’s biggest audience of the year. It also fits into ACG’s bigger shift, from a niche outdoor sub-label into a brand with real standing in both performance and culture.
Chamo Camo will be available starting July 29 at nike.com/acg. It reaches select ACG retailers, including Sentier in Chamonix, on July 30th.
