The Drop: Recovery footwear brand OOFOS launched the OOmy Stride, a bouncy shoe with an extended heel that offers enhanced impact absorption and support.
The OOmy Stride introduces a brand-new platform to OOFOS’ recovery shoe lineup. It features an extended, rounded heel for better impact absorption during longer strides, complemented by an integrated support cradle to keep the foot centered. The outsole boasts deeper flex grooves for increased traction, while a 4-way stretch mesh forefoot enhances breathability and allows for natural foot movement.
The shoe’s design also incorporates lightweight quarter panels for rear foot support and a stretch engineered knit on the tongue and collar for a snug fit. A pillowed collar protects the Achilles tendon during movement, and an antimicrobial footbed lining helps keep the shoe fresh.
The OOmy Stride is built on OOFOS’ proprietary OOfoam™ technology, which forms the foundation of all its products. This tech, combined with its patented footbed, offers support for recovery and performance.
Crafted to enhance mobility and gait patterns, the shoe aims to speed up recovery and reduce strain on the body, promoting faster recovery after physical activity.
Lou Panaccione, OOFOS Co-founder and CEO, says: “Our newest advancement is one we’ve been excited about for quite some time. As the pioneers of Active Recovery footwear, we are constantly looking for ways to improve upon our one-of-a-kind technology to help make our customers feel even better and to provide styles that fit all aspects of their lives. And with the OOmy Stride, we have accomplished that.”
The OOmy Stride is available now in men’s and women’s styles for $159.95 on OOFOS.com.
