Nike enters the luggage space with new hard-shell collection

Nike is stepping into the travel category with its first-ever hard-shell suitcase line, arriving in Spring 2026. The collection includes three sizes — carry-on, medium, and large — with 360-degree spinner wheels, TSA-approved locks, and washable liners designed to handle post-workout gear.

Built for the traveling athlete

Today’s athletes travel farther and more often, whether flying to tournaments or fitting workouts into business trips. Nike spent five years developing luggage that meets those realities, testing prototypes across international routes and rough terrain to ensure performance-level durability.

“Elite players are on private jets to get across the world, and kids playing club sports are flying to compete in weekend tournaments,” says Rachel Lipinski, Global Product Director at Nike Bags. “We wanted something that performs for both.”

Smart storage for sweaty gear

Each bag features adjustable internal dividers that separate clean clothes from used workout gear, plus a removable liner that’s washable and odor-resistant.

“We know athletes’ clothes and shoes go through a lot,” says Alle Evans, Product Line Manager at Nike Bags. “This keeps everything fresh for the next trip.”

Air Force 1 inspiration, travel-ready function

The design nods to Nike’s Air Force 1, with a sleek matte polycarbonate shell, recycled components, and a subtle Swoosh logo on the front. The back features the iconic sneaker sole pattern, and the interior includes “Thank you for flying Nike Air” printed inside as a heritage detail.

Each suitcase comes with archival sticker decals for customization, plus a cleaning sponge for scuff removal. Gel-padded handles and smooth-rolling spinner wheels make airport navigation easier, no matter the load.
