Lumati introduces at-home test to measure microplastics in your body

A saliva-based test that identifies plastic particles and tracks detox progress over time.

Lumati has released Lumati Detect, an at-home saliva test designed to measure microplastic exposure in your body. The test analyzes saliva samples for the presence and concentration of plastic particles, including those that may carry chemicals like BPA or phthalates.

Microplastics are now showing up in human tissues and bloodstreams.to inflammation and oxidative stress, which may contribute to fatigue, anxiety, and accelerated aging.

How it works

Designed for ease, clarity, and accuracy, it only takes a couple of minutes to take a saliva sample using the Lumati kit. Once mailed to Lumati’s US-based lab, users receive results showing the types and concentrations of microplastics detected in their system. The report breaks down exactly which plastics are present and at what levels.

Lumati recommends retesting every 90 days to track changes after following its evidence-based detox protocols, which may include hydrogen therapy, photobiomodulation, and antioxidant support through its Lumati Red supplement.

“The test isn’t about fear, it’s about focus,” says David Perez, CEO and founder of Lumati. “When you can measure what’s affecting you, you can make changes that return your system — and your mindset — to equilibrium.”

Lumati Detect marks the beginning of a broader testing line. The company plans to expand with additional home tests to help users track and optimize their health over time.
