The Drop: Outdoor exploration platform AllTrails has released its biggest update since its launch in 2010. The new version includes tools for sorting over 400,000 trails, accessing key hike details, and exploring parks at all levels before you visit.

AllTrails was named Apple’s App of the Year in 2023 and has over 65 million users who have tracked almost 2 billion kilometers of hiking. Available through AllTrails’ Apple and Android apps, the 2024 Summer Update launches the following features to its global userbase:

Redesigned Trail Pages

AllTrails has revamped its more than 400,000 Trail Pages to make trail planning more straightforward, featuring prominent key details like trail length and duration, dynamic Photo Galleries, 3D route views, trail condition updates, and AI-powered summaries of community reviews.
